Elegant and comfortable like a Flamingo
If there's a music lover around, they'll surely have associated our Flamingo jeans with one of London's best-known concert halls between 1952 and 1967, The Flamingo Club . Its promoters, the producer and great tycoon of the international music world, Jeffrey Kruger and his father, Sam Kruger, launched a pleasant and elegant venue in the center of London, which soon brought together artists of the stature of Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday.
In the early 1960s the London concert hall was known as the center of mod culture. Musicians as famous and renowned as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones or Jimi Hendrix, among others, met there.
In its 15 years of life, The Flamingo Club has passed through different hands and locations, even changing its name to 'The Pink Flamingo', with which it finally closed its doors in May 1968.
