Llanero Solidario, for a fair and sustainable society

According to the latest report 'The State of Poverty in Spain' by EAPN-ES , in our country there are around 13 million people at risk of poverty and/or exclusion, almost 30% of the total population of the Spanish state. These chilling figures force us all to become aware of our environment and allocate certain resources to initiatives and projects aimed at collaborating with these most disadvantaged groups, in order to achieve a common goal: a fairer, more balanced society and, ultimately, sustainable.

And with the same objective, Captain Denim collaborated a few months ago with Llanero Solidario, a non-profit association that is committed to socio-labour insertion projects aimed at people at risk or in a situation of exclusion, in order to provide them with the opportunity they deserve and open the doors of the labor market for them.

In this sense, Llanero Solidario organizes projects focused on professional training through specific training in specific economic activities. As explained by the Association, "we propose comprehensive actions for the reintegration into the labor market of people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion, which serve as a vehicle to get out of the serious situation they suffer" .

Among its different projects, we highlight EcoNatural , with which we collaborate from Captain Denim, based on the execution of a commercialization system for hygienic products made from recycled Fiberpack® cellulose, from tetrabrick containers, as well as cleaning products that respect the environment.

It is a project focused on the theoretical-practical training of people in a situation or risk of social exclusion in product distribution and sale techniques, through which Llanero Solidario offers a wide range of eco-hygiene products, thanks to the commitment of a network of shops selling organic products.

In this way, consumers - whether individuals, companies, educational centers or institutions, among others - participate in the dissemination of a project of a social nature and respect for the environment.
