Dry Indigo, new technology in the dyeing process

Dry Indigo, new technology in the dyeing process

After years of research, one of our main fabric suppliers, Tejidos Royo , has managed to modify the conventional indigo dyeing process by creating "a unique dyeing process that dyes indigo yarn without using water, in a very small space, minimizing drastically its environmental impact and obtaining a unique color in the market”.

The new Dry Indigo technology makes it easier to obtain contrasting effects on the fabric, both through physical treatments and with the daily use of the garments, and, in addition, it entails:

  •        100% water savings in the dyeing process
  •        89% fewer chemicals
  •        65% reduction in energy consumption
  •        Zero water discharges.

This new technology is certified under the Aitex ECO-TECHNOLOGY seal, which guarantees that Dry Indigo is an ecological and sustainable technology for the Indigo yarn dyeing process, with zero water consumption and discharge.

Thanks to the Dry Indigo technology that Fabrics Royo has provided us with and the constant evolution of our production processes, always aimed at minimizing the impact that we as an industry have on the environment, we have managed to create the Ecolojeans collection: 100% ecological trousers with finishes and exclusive washes, created with recycled fabrics and BCI certified organic cotton.

As you can imagine, our Ecolojeans are also treated with Dry Indigo technology in their dyeing process. A sustainable 'Made in Spain' product, of the highest quality and free of chemicals, perfect for you.
