Discover Our New Sweaters: Limitation and Craftsmanship

At Captain Denim, we're excited to introduce our latest addition: sweaters made from merino wool and cashmere! Part of an extremely limited edition, these sweaters reflect the craftsmanship in every stitch .

The Art behind the Fabric

The first thing is to understand how the material works and do several tests to know the density and shrinkage of our garments. With unmatched thoroughness, we carry out wash tests, calculating time and temperature to ensure the long-lasting quality of each jersey.

3D Design: Creating to Last

Once the density has been chosen, the pattern begins to be programmed in a 3D design with an avatar to visualize the drape and volume of the sweater. Each piece is sewn separately on the knitting machine, specially designed to handle a variety of yarns and natural fibers such as merino wool and cashmere.

The Artisanal Process: Each Stitch with Care

We assemble the pieces with our overlock machine, specialized in internal seams to provide firmness to the garments. We carefully close the neck of the sweater by hand, stitch by stitch, adding a unique artisanal touch to each piece.

Quality and Shape: Detailed Care

Then, we subject the sweaters to a washing and spinning process in a vertical machine, followed by drying in a special dryer. Quality control and final steaming ensure that each jersey is the perfect shape and quality.

Craftsmanship in Production: A Careful Process

With this artisanal process , we produce only about 10 sweaters a day, which shows that, although slow, each sweater is made with dedication and care.

These sweaters represent the essence of craftsmanship, quality and sustainability. Their limited edition, with less than 40 sweaters per model, makes them an exclusive piece.
