At Captain Denim we know first-hand the resources and waste derived from the traditional manufacture of trousers, which is why we have been working for a long time to minimize the impact of the production of jeans on the environment. Thanks to various Innovation projects, we have managed to develop Greensight technology: as you know, our main source of energy through biomass and solar panels; we use ozone to finish jeans, managing to save more than 54% of water; thanks to nebulization we dye jeans without toxic emissions into the atmosphere, saving 90% of water and without waste; We work with Laser Finish technology to achieve natural finishes without chemicals and without health risks.

Thanks to the Treat & Tree reforestation project, we want to take another small step towards more sustainable production by offsetting our CO2 emissions. All the trees that we plant will form the Captain Denim forest , which will be located in the same town where our factory is located, in Madrigueras (Albacete). The planting of our forest will not only offset the carbon footprint, but it will also be registered as an absorption project with the Spanish Office for Climate Change.

Each order you make in the Treat & Tree Days will be accompanied by the planting of a tree, which you can put the name you want, you will receive a certificate and exclusive access to the data and evolution of your tree.
