Long live Ringo!
As many of you may have imagined, our Ringo trousers are named after the musician, singer, songwriter, actor and -how not to say it- drummer of the legendary British band The Beatles from 1962 until its dissolution, Ringo Starr .
The creative capacity and the peculiar contribution of Ringo Starr to the compositions of The Beatles made the band's drummer soon receive all kinds of praise and positive criticism, even being elected in 2011 the fifth best drummer of all time by the readers of Rolling Stone magazine.
The Beatles were internationally recognized as the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful band in the history of pop and rock music. Among the many awards and accolades, they were nominated for BAFTA Awards and received an Oscar for Best Original Score for the film 'Let It Be'. In addition, The Beatles were appointed members of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II, and inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
In a personal capacity, Ringo Starr entered the Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2015 and in 2002 he was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame. In addition, Ringo Starr has had a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located in front of the Capitol Records building, since 2010.
Due to his elegance and poise, at Capitan Denim we wanted to pay tribute to The Beatles' drummer with our Ringo , medium-waisted, straight-cut chinos perfect for any occasion.
