This is how we do the color tests

How do we create the colors?
As a picture is worth a thousand words, we welcome you to our laboratory.

Jesús and Mari are in charge of creating the perfect tones thanks to a mixture of science and experience.

Here we show you all the steps:

Color sheet and first test

First, the color you want to achieve is chosen in the Pantonera, then the dye is weighed and then the base colors are dissolved with a little water. To get different shades, they are mixed in test tubes and put into the machine where the color samples will be made. Once the fabric is mixed and dyed, you just have to wash, spin dry and check if the color is correct.

Apply at other scales

If the tone is suitable, we begin to try it on half a pair of pants and later on half a kilo of clothing. If these two tests have been correct, we consider that the color is suitable for sending it to the production chain.

REACH

All the dyes and chemical substances that we use to dye our jeans are approved by REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances), a European community regulation of December 18, 2006. REACH regulates the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the ecosystem.
